Instructional Designer & Technical Writer (Bilingual IT / EN-US)Work location: Italy, Tuscany, FIRENZESector: Information TechnologyDate of last update: 19/01/2026Humangest, a company specialized in recruitment and selection, is seeking on behalf of a company operating in the services and technological innovation sector, focused on the design and development of software solutions, a:Instructional Designer & Technical Writer (Bilingual IT / EN-US)Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will join the Training and Technical Communication department and work closely with an international team.The role involves designing digital learning solutions and developing technical documentation to support software applications and business processes.The candidate will collaborate with internal teams and international stakeholders, contributing to the creation of bilingual training and informational materials, ensuring quality, clarity, and compliance with established standards.Key responsibilitiesAnalyzing training needs and designing eLearning, classroom, and blended learning programsDeveloping storyboards, scripts, and interactive content using authoring tools (e.g. Elucidat)Applying adult learning principles and accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA)Writing clear and well-structured technical documentation (user manuals, SOPs, quick reference guides)Translating complex technical concepts into simple and user-friendly languageCreating, adapting, and localizing training materials in Italian and US EnglishCollaborating with Subject Matter Experts, product teams, and engineers to gather requirementsReviewing and updating content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and complianceRequirementsDegree in Instructional Design, Education Sciences, Technical Communication, or related fieldsAt least 3 years of experience in instructional design and technical writingExcellent written and spoken Italian and English (US)Experience with eLearning tools and LMS platforms (Elucidat is a plus)Knowledge of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM)Strong multitasking skills and attention to detailBasic skills in graphic design and multimedia content creationWhat We OfferSalary range: €30,000–€40,000 gross annual, plus welfare benefitsStructured professional growth pathWork location: to be defined (on-site in Florence / hybrid / remote)SGB Humangest is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.Each company within the Group rejects any form of discrimination based on race, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, or any other protected characteristic, as defined by applicable national laws.The selection process will take place following the privacy notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation ******** (GDPR) and only after obtaining the candidate's explicit consent.Interested candidates of all genders (Law ******) are invited to visit:#J-*****-Ljbffr
