About the location: About the role: This role reports to the General Manager and will be responsible for providing professional direction and strategic leadership for the team and all aspects of the hotel and building maintenance. This position will include project management (including annual and long-term capital expenditures), procurement and planning, leading the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel, and budget planning and management. What you will do: Train, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Engineering department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met. Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of all maintenance and engineering tasks, ensuring the highest levels of safety, functionality, and aesthetic standards throughout the property. Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental standards as set forth by Four Seasons, as well as local, state, and federal regulations, are fully met and maintained. Communicate regularly with employees and department heads to ensure operational needs are met, and participate in regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments. Maintain control systems to monitor preventive maintenance, energy efficiency, and equipment performance, ensuring optimal operation and long-term asset preservation. What you bring: College degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience is required. Three to five years of previous experience in a leadership role within Engineering, Facilities, or Maintenance, ideally within luxury hospitality. Ability to read, speak and write in English and Italian. Strong technical knowledge and ability to operate and troubleshoot building systems and engineering equipment.
