(NYSE: FLOW) innovates with customers to help feed and enhance the world by designing, delivering and servicing high value solutions at the heart of growing and sustaining our diverse communities.The company's product offering is concentrated in rotating, actuating and hydraulic technologies, as well as automated process systems, into food and beverage, industrial and power and energy markets.SPX FLOW has approximately $2 billion in annual revenues with operations in more than 30 countries and sales in more than 150 countries.Location: Italy.FLSA StatusOn demandDivisionFlow - N&H Solutions (FNH)DepartmentFB06-NHS Separators (NHSEP)Job Code / Grade****/C2Reports toEngineering Manager – CentrifugesJob SummaryThe Product Development Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new products for our company.They will ensure that the products meet customer requirements and adhere to industry standards.The engineer will collaborate with other teams including marketing, sales, and production to ensure that the product meets all designated requirements.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop new products according to company requirements.Create test plans and conduct testing of prototype products.Ensure that the products meet all necessary standards and regulations.Collaborate with other teams including marketing, sales, and production.Maintain accurate and detailed records of product development.Continuously test and evaluate products to ensure quality and functionality.Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in the product development process.Ensure that all products are launched according to the set timeline.Keep up to date with industry trends and standards to ensure that the products are competitive.Education and ExperienceAt least 5 years' experience as a product development engineer.Experience working in a team and collaborating across departments.SkillsGood understanding of the product development process.Ability to create technical drawings and schematics.High attention to detail and ability to think critically.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.Strong problem-solving skills.Working ConditionsThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Working conditions are normal for an office and or client-side workshop or warehousing facility.The noise level in the work environment is moderately quiet, however local and client sites can be unpredictable and associated safety equipment should be worn accordingly.CommunicationObtains consensus and collaboration across geographies and different functions;
