Job Description SummaryThe Technical Field Customer Support will support our vision to become the partner of choice for customer-focused solutions by delivering high-quality, plannable services such as preventative maintenance, installations and upgrades.Deliver technical support and preventative maintenance on the assigned BD instruments and systems within the assigned region to guarantee customer satisfaction through outstanding service and mastery of reported incidents and customer requests.Demonstrate continuous and versatile learning by attending ongoing technical training to become proficient on relevant platforms in your region.Main responsibilities will include:On-site support operational excellencePerform local technical support on the assigned BD instruments and systems as agreed in the customer service level agreements, including installations, deinstallations, relocations, certifications (IQ & OQ), and repairsHandle problems independentlyRemote support, diagnostics and troubleshootingInvestigate, diagnose, troubleshoot and support the customer remotely for technical problems on BD instruments and systems that are not supported by the help deskWork with dispatch to prepare and schedule appropriate field visits when a remote solution is unobtainableField corrective actions and preventive maintenancePrioritize, plan and execute field corrective actions, upgrades and preventive maintenance on all BD instruments and systems according to regulatory instructions and mandatory procedures within the predefined timeframe to ensure business continuity for the customerPre-installationFunctional administrative reportingMaintain car stockFollow local procedures to report technical challenges that cannot be resolvedBe prepared to retain ownership of escalated issues to deliver the potential solution once advisedQuality compliance: Align with all quality, ISO, GMP and safety regulations as required by the organization and with the service levels agreed with the customer to always deliver outstanding qualityAbout YouGood level of English – A2 or B1High School, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in electronic or electrical technology or biotechnology certificationHigh motivationAvailability to travel 100% of your timeTwo or more years of experience in the technical service of medical device companiesInstrumentation Blood Analysis (Liquids) experience is an assetRemote support, diagnostics and troubleshootingField corrective actions and preventive maintenance, devices installationFunctional administrative reportingQuality compliancePreferably located near Bologna, with the possibility to travel across all Italian territory.Our target base salary range for this role is between€35,000 and €45,000per year, complemented by
