Job Description: Closer to Space, closer to the Future: join Telespazio – Leonardo Space Division Leonardo is a leading global industrial group in Aerospace, Defence and Security, delivering advance multi-domain technologies across Helicopters, Aircraft, Aerostructures, Electronics, Cybersecurity, and Space.As part of the Leonardo Space Division, Telespazio a joint venture between Leonardo (67%) and Thales (33%) , is a global reference in the field of satellite solutions and services.With a workforce of over ***** professionals across its offices in Europe and around the world, Telespazio operates an international network of Space Centres and Teleports, offering cutting-edge solutions in Geoinformation Services, Satellite Systems and Operations, and Satellite Communications.Inside the Teleport and Ground Infrastructures Engineering department in Rome, we are looking for and RF System Engineer, supporting RF Systems and Antenna design, procurement, installation, integration and test in the designated Ground Station facility.The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities: System Design, to develop detailed requirements and define the system architecture, including specifications for the procurement of the required subsystems and services Technical management of the Procurement process, including factory and on-site test as applicable Integration of the subsystems in the overall system architecture, development and execution of system, end-to-end and onsite tests Development of all relevant documentation (design documents, test plans and procedures, reports) Project Management, including budgeted cost and schedule control Requirements: An experience of at least 3-5 years in Antenna/Ground Stations equipment and subsystem design is required.Second Level Master's degree in Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering Technical skills: System Engineering methodologies Antennas and RF Propagation RF and Microwave Systems Modems and Baseband processing Time and Frequency Systems Knowledge of Satellite Missions, Satellite Control Techniques, Monitoring and Control Protocols, Antenna Measurements and ECSS Standards is appreciated.Soft skills: Problem solving Team working Flexibility Good knowledge of the English language is required Place of work : Rome Headquarters.This position requires the availability to make frequent trips in Saudi Arabia for a specific project.What We Offer: A stimulating and dynamic working environment with flexible working hours Hybrid working (onsite and off-site) Comprehensive health insurance Meal voucher, company canteen and employee welfare programs Free access to online learning platform with courses from top universities Opportunities for international experiences Why Telespazio : At Telespazio, the well-being, safety, and development of our people are at the heart of our corporate culture.We actively foster an inclusive, diverse, and stimulating work environment, promoting the principles of equity and the value of diversity.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or age.Seniority: Expert
