Join to apply for theService Engineerrole atIBA Proton TherapyAs a Field Service Engineer in Proton Therapy, you will play a pivotal role in installing, maintaining, and repairing IBA equipment at our Humanitas Proton Therapy Center in Rozzano.You will deliver reliable and high-quality service within defined timelines, collaborate with a team of five, and travel for training and support as needed.MissionTo treat cancer patients by ensuring the proper operation of IBA equipment and systems, delivering excellent product reliability and customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesTechnical ownership of a site subsystem according to area competenciesMaintain and troubleshoot equipment, dealing with electrical, mechanical, and software mattersTest and repair equipment/systems in accordance with technical specificationsUpgrade and improve systems in collaboration with the R&D departmentEnsure the highest quality of state-of-the-art technologies and servicesPropose solutions that improve equipment reliability, stability, and operabilityPrepare and set up equipment/systems for daily clinical operationsOperate equipment and provide technical support to medical staff during daily operationsMaintain daily reports of activities, maintenance execution, and incidents in the appropriate IT toolsMaintain adequate records as defined by the specific facilityDirect contact with internal and external clientsMaintain third-party equipment (TPS, OIS, various gating systems)QualificationsTechnical bachelor's or master's degree in electronics, mechatronics, automation, or telecommunicationsAlternative: Technical high school diploma with solid experience in industrial maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical equipmentGood verbal and written communication skills in Italian and EnglishStrong analytical and logical reasoning skills for root cause analysisA broad technical interest and motivation for hands-on workBasic to medium level of IT knowledge for first-line system administration interventionsCustomer-oriented, proactive, and hands-onAble to follow rules and regulations and deliver on strict deadlinesEager to learn new fields and continuously update knowledge (electronics, software, hardware, beam physics, medical applications)Team player with strong interpersonal skillsFlexible and willing to work rotating shift work (morning, afternoon, late afternoon, night, weekend)About IBAAt IBA, we value creativity, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.As a certified B Corporation, we uphold the highest standards of social and environmental performance.If you're ready to embark on a journey where your skills and ideas can truly make an impact, apply now to join our dedicated team.Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesMedical Equipment Manufacturing; Industrial Machinery Manufacturing; Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics ManufacturingApply today and be part of a mission that matters#J-*****-Ljbffr
