Medical Scientific Liaison – Infectious DiseaseOur Medical Affairs team advances patient care by engaging in scientific exchange with external medical experts and industry leaders, ensuring the scientific value of our products is understood.We connect, communicate and train internal employees to ensure a thorough understanding of the science behind the medicine and review further unmet medical needs to support collaboration to further differentiate our portfolio.The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Company Medical Affairs to support the medical objectives.This role will report to the Therapeutic Area Coordinator Infectious Diseases and is a field-based position.A Medical/Senior Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) is a disease state expert responsible for supporting company's strategic and scientific objectives, by exchanging scientific information with roster scientific leaders about an assigned product and therapeutic area (TA) through balanced discussion.ResponsibilitiesBe a product and disease state expert engaging in non-promotional scientific exchange with Scientific Leaders or Key Decision Makers.Execute Field Medical Engagement Plans within the scope of local and global policies, local rules and regulations and aligned with the Field Medical SOP.Ensure full understanding of the therapeutic area, staying up-to-date on major studies, product information and pipeline data.Interact with identified Scientific Leaders and healthcare administrators by exchanging balanced medical/scientific information.Utilize scientific and medical expertise to communicate in individual and group presentations.Respond to unsolicited requests for information from Scientific Leaders or KDMs, documenting use of approved materials.Provide insights internally on scientific gaps, ideas and other topics for clinical trial programs and company TA strategy.Provide on-label medical insights and training to internal colleagues on products and disease state.Attend scientific congresses/meetings to gather emerging data on patient treatment.Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.Be well prepared about all relevant scientific data and regulatory requirements for field-based personnel.Commit to continuing education to maintain knowledge base.Work effectively as a member of overlapping teams such as national MSL team, regional medical team, national accounts, and others.Qualification & ExperienceAn MD is preferred, particularly with expertise in Infectious Diseases.Candidates with advanced degrees—including PharmD, PhD, biology, or BS in pharmacy—can qualify when supported by relevant clinical and/or industry experience in field medical affairs.SkillsIndustry or clinical experience in Infectious Diseases is desirable.Clear and concise communication skills (verbal, written, presentations) and ability to work in cross-functional teams.Experience in management or investigation of clinical trials is desirable.Clinical network experience is desirable.Ability to learn and convey medical/scientific information to healthcare professionals and decision-makers.Ability to travel extensively (up to 70% of the working week).Fluent in English is an asset.Job DetailsRequisition ID: R******Seniority level: Not ApplicableEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Research, Science, and Health Care ProviderIndustries: Biotechnology Research, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, and Veterinary ServicesJob Posting End Date: 12/15/2025#J-*****-Ljbffr
