Are you interested in shaping the future of movies and television?Do you want to define the next generation of how and what Amazon customers are watching?Prime Video is one of the leading digital video services, and we're just getting started changing the way millions of people enjoy content.Available in more than 240 countries and territories, Prime Video offers customers the broadest selection of any on-demand video service.Amazon MGM Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon.In service of Amazon's Prime Video customers globally, it is our role to produce and acquire content, including popular Originals such as The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, The Boys, Fallout, The Summer I Turned Pretty, Saltburn, Road House, The Idea of You, and Red One.Within Amazon MGM Studios, the Original Movies Strategy team is seeking a highly analytical and strategic thinker to join as a Content Strategy Manager in Culver City, CA.This role will focus on content strategy for Original Movies on Prime Video, including the facilitation of greenlights.The Content Strategy Manager will work with teams across the studio including creative development, production, business affairs, finance, programming, and marketing.We are seeking a candidate who has a strong understanding of the movie business, proven analytical skills, and an ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations.The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving.Key job responsibilitiesEvaluate Original Movies being considered for greenlightAssess the financial and strategic considerations of various movie deal structures and release modelsAnalyze Prime Video viewership data to surface insights and inform senior leadership decisionsAuthor strategy documents providing recommendations on slate planning, content investments, new business models, and "think big" opportunitiesServe as a knowledge center for streaming movie performance, forecasting methodologies, and performance reportingBasic QualificationsExperience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projectsExperience communicating complex business concepts in verbal and written form4+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a similar role within the media and entertainment industryAnalytical skills, including experience using complex modeling to inform key business decisions.Proficiency in ExcelPreferred QualificationsMBA, or Master's degreeExperience working in movie or television content strategy, or in a similar fast-paced, high-impact role in the media and entertainment industryAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
