We are recruiting for one of our clients a IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) System Administrator / Expert Role.We are looking for a senior IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) System Administrator / Expert, with hands-on, day-by-day operational experience on IBM middleware environments.This is a strongly system-oriented role.Profiles with only generic Java or application-level exposure to WAS will not be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation, configuration and administration of IBM WebSphere Application Server in enterprise environmentsManagement of WAS Network Deployment (ND) architectures: Cell, Deployment Manager, Node / Node Agent, Clusters, JVM, thread pool and connection pool tuning and optimizationConfiguration of security (SSL, certificates, LDAP integration)Performance monitoring and advanced troubleshooting on production issuesSupport to upgrade and migration activities across WAS versionsClose collaboration with infrastructure and application teams in mission critical contextsRemote work activitiesCompetenze richieste Mandatory Technical RequirementsAt least 3–4 years of hands-on, proven experience as WAS System AdministratorStrong, practical experience on IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS 8.5.x / 9.0 Network Deployment)Solid experience on Linux / Unix environmentsLog analysis and root cause analysisHigh availability and enterprise-grade setupsExperience in regulated, enterprise environments (banking / financial services is a plus)Nice to HaveExperience with IBM HTTP Server (IHS)Experience with IBM MQFamiliarity with automation and scripting (bash, wsadmin)Certifications (strongly preferred)IBM Certified System Administrator – WebSphere Application ServerOther IBM middleware certifications#J-*****-Ljbffr
