Role overviewWe are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the development and validation of industrial use cases for an AI-driven engineering simulation platform.The role focuses onsolid mechanics, heat transfer and fluid dynamics, bridging high-fidelity numerical simulations and AI-based surrogate models.Key responsibilitiesDesign and parametrization of mechanical and thermo-fluid simulation casesGeneration of high-fidelity datasets using FEM/FVM solversValidation of AI model outputs against traditional numerical simulationsCollaboration with AI researchers and software engineers to translate physical models into deployable solutionsTechnical support during industrial pilot projectsRequired profileMSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)Strong background in solid mechanics, heat transfer and/or CFDHands-on experience with simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL, OpenFOAM)Experience with parametric simulations and large datasets is a plusAbility to work in interdisciplinary teams and applied R&D environments
