active, such as automotive, aerospace, and rail.Job DescriptionOrganize and execute NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) work site operations in compliance with approved specifications and operative procedures.Ensure Quality Control activities and full compliance with quality and safety procedures, including proper handling of ionizing radiation risks.Location:Project-based (International assignments)Experience Level:Mid-level (5-10 years)Key ResponsibilitiesOrganize and execute NDT operations on site (UT, MT, PT, RT, and other methods)Issue required Quality Records and send non-conformity reports to Quality Control SupervisorLiaise with welding technicians/foremen to identify causes of welding defectsCheck calibration of measurement instruments and related certificationsControl storage and certification of consumablesProvide maintenance of NDT equipmentCarry out inspection activities and specific inspections on materials and equipmentPrepare NDT procedures for assigned projectsAudit NDT subcontractors and verify their compliance with proceduresProvide training for NDT personnelApply and ensure application of protection measures during activities with ionizing radiation risksFollow local, national, and international safety precautions for radiation safetyQualificationsEducation:Technical diploma or vocational qualification in NDT, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldFormal NDT training from accredited institutionExperience:5-10 years as NDT Technician/OperatorExtensive hands-on experience with multiple NDT methodsExperience in oil & gas, construction, fabrication, or offshore projectsSite-based NDT operations experience requiredBackground in welding inspection and defect analysisCertifications (Required)NDT Level II certification in minimum 2 methods (UT, RT, MT, PT, ET, etc.)Certification per recognized schemes (ASNT, PCN, EN ISO ****, or equivalent)Radiation safety certification for RT operationsValid certifications must be current and project-appropriateTechnical SkillsExpert knowledge of NDT technologies and methodologiesProficiency in managing and monitoring NDT activities in laboratories and project/site environmentsAbility to check calibration of NDT instruments and certification validityUnderstanding of welding processes and defect identificationKnowledge of instrument calibration and control proceduresFamiliarity with industry standards (ASTM, ASME, AWS, ASNT, etc.)Safety & Quality KnowledgeUnderstanding of ISO **** Quality Management SystemKnowledge of quality control principles and Quality Control PlansExpertise in quality inspection activities and reportingComprehensive understanding of radiation safety protocolsKnowledge of construction sequences and planningMaterial
