As an Assembly & Test Technician, you will primarily be involved in the assembly, installation, and testing of mechanical components and modules. Your responsibilities will include working day and night shifts in the assembly and test department. Essential ResponsibilitiesAssembly mechanical parts, components, modules, and resolves assembly problemsInstall the parts in the test cell, connect the fluidic elements for lubrication etc, connect the relevant instrumentationPerform tests of the assembled mechanical component, lead by the relevant test engineersApply maintenance to equipmentAny other manufacturing processes to meet business requirementsMaintain Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality related and other Compliance requirements in accordance with regulations and GE policiesQualifications / RequirementsItalian technical mechanic high school diplomaAbility to understand and work to engineering technical drawings or InstructionsAbility to use measuring equipment such as micrometers etc.(ex: to perform rig test components alignment)Knowledge of fluidic systemsBasic knowledge of instrumentationProven ability to work in and create a productive and rewarding environment for a small team. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. Literate in the use of Microsoft Office packages and ability to learn internal computer systems. High quality and accurate work outputFluency in Italian and EnglishAvailability for travel, including outside the EU, and willingness to work shifts in exceptional casesWork visa in accordance with local regulationsDesired CharacteristicsEnglish language knowledge would be optimalExperience in mechanical labor would be beneficialMachining experience would be beneficialAbility to multi-task and deal with a varied work loadAble to work on own initiativeEfficient and effectiveGood verbal communication skillsHigh level of attention to detailReady to travel disponible
