Production Planning Specialist

Job Description This role is to plan part of production dictating the timing of delivery and lead times and determining the priorities of execution of the department.This position will work closely together with the Commercial Department, and cooperating closely with departments / offices involved in the production process.Activities may include, but are not limited to: Collaboration with the Sales /Customer Service office, during the confirmation of the orders to the customers, provides direct feedback about the feasibility of the delivery terms of finished products.Optimize the production plan to guarantee the right service level to the Customers and achieve KPI set by the Corporate.Monitor the production working progress defining alternative programs that could optimize the production capacity and consequently the tools management.Collaborate with the purchasing and logistics depts in order to establish delivery terms from suppliers and reports any priorities In collaboration with the Department Heads prepare the working plans.Monitor the productivity of individual department machines.Monitor the working progress verifying that the production schedule is respected.Analyze and plan material requirements by determining the quantity and date materials are needed to ensure optimal inventory levels.Contribute in new Projects development, creating planning models for new businesses.Ensure a consistent presence on the shop floor to verify the alignment between the digital production schedule and actual line progress, identifying potential constraints early Production Sequencing Changeover Optimization: "Define the optimal production sequence to minimize setup times and machine downtime , balancing efficiency with delivery urgency.Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering).4-6 years SML or related experience preferred.Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and detail-oriented.Knowledge of MRP and Lean Manufacturing logics.Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements.Ability to conduct research, prepare comprehensive reports and present complex statistical information in a clear and succinct manner Ability to work well with all levels of management and employees.Excellent in Microsoft Office usage (in particular Excel) Fluent in Italian and English Problem-Solving on the Fly: Proven ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment when production deviations occur.Additional Information Who we are- Our Story: Each of us, Every dayEight Values.One TeamWe understand diversity and equal opportunities as enrichment for our future-oriented work at Avery Dennison.With us, teams are balanced and diverse.Because each of us is unique, and we appreciate bringing together different personalities and talents.Avery Dennison is an equal opportunity employer.You are interested in knowing more about our Diversity Inclusion approach?Please go to averydennison.com/en/home/about-us/diversity-and-inclusion.html At Avery Dennison we do what we love, and we love what we do - Just click here, and get us to know even better: Life @ Avery Dennison ( linkedin.com/company/avery-dennison/life/emea )
