About the role As a Electrical Service Maintenance Technician at Tesco across Warwickshire and Leicestershire areas, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our stores remains a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike.You'll be part of a skilled team responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems and equipment, helping to keep our operations running smoothly.Your work will directly impact the shopping experience of thousands of customers every day.You'll use your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues efficiently, always prioritising safety, compliance, and quality.This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high standards.In return, you'll be supported with ongoing training, opportunities to grow your career, and the chance to be part of one of the UK's most recognised and respected retail brands.The hiring manager for this vacancy is Kaspar Tew.You will be responsible forAs a Service Maintenance Technician your specific responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks.To thrive in this role, you will need to:Confidently Interact with External Contractors: Coordinating repairs seamlessly.Work Collaboratively with the Team: Be a great colleague who understands the importance of quality service.Sustain High Energy Levels: Juggling tasks while maintaining efficiency.Assist the Management Team: Keeping our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.Minimize Customer Disruption: Coordinating repairs with minimal impact on our valued customers.Responsibilities will include;Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency, and effectiveness.Working closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.General day to day store and property maintenance.Using mobile devices;
