Regional Facilities Specialist, IXD RegionalJob ID: ******* | Amazon.com Services LLCOperations is at the heart of Amazon's business.We are known for our speed, accuracy, and exceptional service.Our buildings deliver tens of thousands of products to hundreds of countries worldwide, every day.The Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team are the business partners that work tirelessly behind the scenes to make it happen.We drive continuous improvement, and maintain all of the robotics and material handling equipment (MHE) to ensure our customers are met with the Amazon smile.Come join us on our journeyAbout the RoleAs the Regional Facilities Specialist, you will oversee operations across multiple locations in the assigned region, establishing standardized processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.You will conduct regional facility inspections and coordinate repairs for property interiors and exteriors, including structural elements, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting infrastructure.Key Job Responsibilities- Apply subject matter expertise (SME) on troubleshooting and dive deep for facility issues, supporting a region of maintenance teams to investigate root cause and plan actions to eliminate/mitigate downtime of critical facility assets.- Provide regional escalation support for onsite maintenance teams for items related to Fire, Life, Safety (FLS), HVAC systems, power generators, facility electrical and plumbing systems, etc.- Ensure vendor work for both preventative and reactive maintenance for all facilities is performed efficiently with minimum disruption.- Establish communication, escalation procedures, and contingency plans to negate periods of operational impact.- Maintain and install new equipment and facilities, ensuring warranties are met.- Lead training initiatives to enhance technical capabilities of onsite maintenance teams.- Develop regional facility improvement proposals and execute with approved vendors.- Travel domestically up to 80% to support sites within a region.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience.Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of building codes and safety compliance.- 5+ years of HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation experience.BenefitsAmazon offers competitive compensation packages including comprehensive healthcare benefits starting on Day 1, matching 401(k) program, and up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave.Additional safety equipment such as lightweight fire-resistant daily wear and composite toe safety shoes are provided for your safety.The base salary range for this position is listed below.Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and optional supplemental life plans), EAP, mental health support, flexible spending accounts, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.Learn more at .Equal Opportunity EmployerAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
