Investment Manager (m/w/d) – Data4 Join to apply for the Investment Manager (m/w/d) role at Data4.About Data4Data4 creates Smart & Scalable digital facilities for our customers.Our network of highly connected, resilient and sustainable data center campuses underpins our customers' digital growth in Europe.Data4 Group designs, constructs, finances and operates its own data centers, delivering secure, scalable and high-performance data hosting solutions through its campus model.ValuesTo be entrepreneurial – we are teams of doers who make things happen, with autonomy, energy and a sense of responsibilityTo always take responsibility – for our impact on the people we work with, the society we are part of, and the environment in which we operateTo constantly be adaptable – our business is designed to adapt, answering not only today's challenges, but also anticipating what's coming next.The RoleThe Investment Manager is an integral part of Data4's Investment team.The team sets the growth and funding strategy of the group, engaging in greenfield acquisitions and M&A to build out new data center assets/campuses and executing follow-up investments at existing locations.The funding strategy covers both debt and equity funding from multiple sources.The position sits at the heart of the company and offers the opportunity to work directly with senior members of the management team, assisting with strategic decision-making in business planning and ad-hoc analyses.The successful candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, is detail-oriented, intellectually curious, business savvy, and possesses a strong finance/valuation foundation.The Investment Manager reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer.Role locations: Milan, Italy or Madrid, Spain.ResponsibilitiesFunding Strategy:Develop and implement corporate financing strategy, in conjunction with BrookfieldParticipate in corporate acquisitions and department sell-down activities, including leading various workstreamsStructure joint-ventures to expand the firm's reach and/or de-risk growth opportunitiesGrowth Strategy:Underwrite investment opportunities (greenfield and brownfield)Prepare marketing materials for both internal and external useOwn DD workstreamsOwn complex financial analysis and valuations related to M&A opportunitiesCorporate Strategy:Involved in drafting materials to discuss corporate strategy with the Executive Committee and Board of DirectorsOwn the business plan modelPerform ad-hoc analysesTechnical Skills / IMS Certifications:Respect and enforce certification policies in terms of: H&S – health and safety rules; Environment – environmental policies; Information security – information security policies; Energy – reducing energy consumptionRequirementsEducation and experienceBachelor's degree in engineering, management, finance, or a related field5-10 years of relevant experienceBanking background, ideally with Private Equity, Infrastructure or Real Estate experienceSkillsExcellent analytical, financial modelling and valuation skills, ideally with a real estate and/or corporate focusProject planning and self-management skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced and team-oriented environmentMeticulous attention to detailFluency in English and French (another European language is an asset)Proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)Problem-solving and analytical skillsProfessional integrity#J-*****-Ljbffr
