OverviewAt JBT Corporation, our purpose is to fortify the future of food and be a global leader in food and beverage technology.We value integrity, collaboration, agility, and impact, and we empower employees to deliver sustainable innovation and world-class projects.Reporting to the South Region Service Manager, the Field Service Technician installs, services, and maintains equipment to keep it running at top operating efficiency.The OpportunityOn a given day, you may: Conduct inspections, repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting in customer facilities; Provide accurate and detailed service visit reports; Provide technical support for all machinery within your responsibilities, advising customers on maintenance, spare parts, and upgrades; identify trends and share with your manager; Train customers on maintenance, operation, safety, and cleaning of the machinery; Participate in creating and applying working procedures for Service department tasks; Respond to technical questions from customers, technicians, and the sales team; Identify sales opportunities to the Sales department by providing technical information and customer assistance.Qualifications5 years of experience in machine servicing within food processing plants (we will consider candidates with less than this).Mechanical, electrical, and electronic devices (PLC, HMI, VLT, etc.) expertise; Knowledge of Salesforce, Outlook, and Office; Comfortable working remotely with access to remote support; Team player who enjoys sharing best practices and delivering great customer service; Excellent Italian and English language skills (fluency in Italian is a must); Valid driving license; Travel & LocationTravel to Italian and Greek customers; occasional support for EMEA colleagues; Flexibility to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends; Travel requirement: up to 80% of the time.Benefits & Our Commitment to DiversityCompetitive compensation package; Opportunity to work in an established international company with opportunities for personal development; A work environment that values initiative and collaboration; Continuous development and growth as part of the team.We are committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.We provide equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, veteran status, citizenship, or any other characteristic protected by law.We will reasonably accommodate applicants who need adjustments to participate in the application or interview process.Employment details: Seniority level not applicable; Employment type: Full-time; Job function: Engineering and Information Technology; Industry: Machinery Manufacturing.#J-*****-Ljbffr
