Milan, Italy | In-houseJackleg is an international, award-winning music & sound design studio specialized in creating tailor-made audio content for brands worldwide.We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Sound Designer to join our team full-time, working in-house at our Milan studio.You will collaborate on international projects in a creative, cross-disciplinary environment, contributing to the development of distinctive sonic identities for our clients.The roleAs part of the Jackleg team, you will be responsible for recording, designing, producing, and delivering high-quality audio content across multiple media platforms.You will work closely with our creative direction team, taking ownership of sound design tasks from concept to final delivery.Responsibilities- Create sound design for client projects- Record voice talents for VO, dubbing, and podcasts- Handle audio post-production and restoration for TV, radio, and web- Mix and master soundtracks, including voice processing- Design and create unique sound assets (SFX, Foley, dialogue, music)- Implement sound assets for both linear and interactive projects- Collaborate with creative directors to refine audio aesthetics- Deliver projects on time and according to specificationsRequirements- Proven 3+ years of experience in an audio studio focused on commercial post and sound design- Solid experience with DAWs such as Ableton Live and Logic Pro X- Solid knowledge of sound design, audio engineering, audio & music tools, including AI audio tools, and production workflows- Excellent mixing and mastering skills, including use of industry-standard plugins- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects- Strong communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English- Passion for audio, music and soundNice to have- Field recording and location sound experience- Composer and/or musician backgroundContract- Full-time – Independent Contractor Agreement 1-year contract- In-house position based in MilanPlease apply with your demo reel and a short introduction.
