Field Service Engineer - Applied Materials Europe Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world.We design, build, and service cutting-edge equipment that helps our customers manufacture display and semiconductor chips – the brains of devices we use every day.If you want to push the boundaries of materials science and engineering to create next-generation technology, join us to deliver material innovation that changes the world.What We OfferLocation: Agrate Brianza (Monza, Italy)You'll benefit from a supportive work culture that encourages learning, development, and career growth while taking on challenges and driving innovative solutions.We provide programs and support that encourage personal and professional growth and care for you at work, at home, or wherever you may go.Key ResponsibilitiesManage equipment performance and supply of spare parts.Implement and guarantee preventive and corrective maintenance within timelines.Support troubleshooting activities and fix technical issues on equipment.Diagnose and resolve hardware issues through understanding of software and process data as needed.Perform upgrades and retrofits on equipment.Ensure that the team applies the correct procedures and checklists for maintenance.Implement correct work methodologies and procedures as per company and customer quality standards.Anticipate and respond to equipment issues and escalations timely.Collaborate and communicate with company stakeholders.Participate in internal and customer meetings.Assist management in operating the site service business within assigned scope.Support field management in establishing and achieving objectives for assigned accounts.Inform field management of customer perception of system performance.Takes initiative to avoid and resolve customer problems.Occasionally initiate projects to drive down costs or increase uptime.Work shifts as required.Travel flexibility required (˜20%).Soft SkillsProfessional interaction with colleagues and customers.Effective communication and presentation of technical content during customer meetings.Team leadership orientation and customer service focus.Objective and data-driven approach.Planning and organizing work tasks by priority.Global organization communication.Explain technical information within team and to AMAT experts network.Computer SkillsMinimum: Outlook, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Additional: advanced software skills, industrial automation, software analysis, coding, server administration, computer analyst.EducationUniversity degree in Engineering with limited experience or ITS – Post Diploma in Factory Automation/Mechatronics.Additional InformationTime Type: Full timeEmployee Type: Assignee / RegularTravel: Yes, 20% of the timeRelocation Eligible: NoApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, citizenship, ancestry, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, veteran or military status, or any other basis prohibited by law.#J-*****-Ljbffr
