Alchimia is one of the leading European manufacturers of medical devices for ophthalmic surgery and tissue banks.With our expertise in the fields of chemistry, microbiology, and pharmacology, at Alchimia we have adopted this rule : we design each medical device as if it were intended for ourselves.Since our foundation in ****, all our products have been developed in collaboration with opinion leaders and the scientific community before being released to the market.This allows us to offer safe, useful, and effective solutions to improve the daily operations of medical staff and the quality of life of their patients.Our commitment to research makes us a reliable partner, able to provide ongoing training and updated scientific information to our distributors and product users.Thanks to the Alchimia team, we now have a network of over 60 independent distributors across Europe and the world, capable of providing fast local service to all our customers.To expand our team, we are looking for a Production Planner.Position OverviewThe position reports directly to the Plant Director.After an initial training period aimed at gaining in-depth knowledge of the production cycles of the various departments, the role will collaborate synergistically with key company functions, including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Research & Development, and Logistics.The role involves active participation in the planning and monitoring of production activities, with the goal of ensuring process efficiency, meeting deadlines, and continuously improving operational performance.Main ResponsibilitiesManagement and optimization of the production planning processInterface with the Quality Control Laboratory for scheduling tests on raw materials and finished productsCollaboration with the Purchasing Department for planning requirements and monitoring inventory levelsDrafting production plans in synergy with the Sales and Operations teams.Verification of feasibility and compliance with the timelines of released schedules.Management of production priorities and urgencies, coordinating timelines up to release.Communication with Customer Service and Sales for updates and new planning.Process analysis through reports and KPIsAdjustment of production schedules based on demand fluctuationsProposals for continuous improvement of production flows and processesMonitoring of production progress in collaboration with internal and external departmentsApplication of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles and tracking of improvement project status.Requirements and ExperiencePrevious experience in production planning, preferably in chemical-pharmaceutical companiesDegree in Management Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or ChemistryAt least 3-5 years of work experience in the same roleExcellent analytical, organizational and communication abilitiesExcellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Project ManagementAbility to work in a team, negotiation and critical thinking as well as planning and organizational skills and result orientationFlexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrentlyProblem-solving attitude, strategic vision, and proactivity.What We OfferDynamic and innovative environment.Opportunities for professional growth.Continuous training.Involvement in strategic projects.This job posting is open to candidates of all genders, in compliance with applicable laws (L. ******** and L. ********).This opportunity is also reserved for individuals belonging to the protected categories as defined by Law *******.#J-*****-Ljbffr
