Specialist Occupational Therapist - Community Mental Health Services3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsNHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles.We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.This is a part-time post of 18.7 hours per week.(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.South Community Mental Health service has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with mental health experience.This is a part time permanent contract for a band 6 occupational therapist within an Adult Community Mental Health Team.Responsibilities will include mental health/occupational therapy assessment and treatment for individuals and groups residing in the south side of Glasgow.Also required will be knowledge and experience in the care and treatment of adults with mental health difficulties including appropriate interventions.Working in a mental health context.Confident with core occupational therapy skills, with proven effective verbal and written communication skills.You will receive operational and professional support and supervision from the lead occupational therapist, will gain access to appropriate training to maintain your continued professional development.It is essential you have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy with current HCPC registration.This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.A driving licence is desirable.Contact:Fiona Brown, Lead Occupational Therapist, ,Application information packs and further details can be found within the Candidate Information Packs.NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde encourages applications from all sections of the community and promotes a culture of inclusion across the organisation.#J-*****-Ljbffr
