DATA4'S MISSION DATA4 creates Smart & Scalable digital facilities for our customers.Our network of highly connected, resilient and sustainable data center campuses underpins our customers' digital growth in Europe.DATA4 Group finances, designs, constructs and operates its own data centers.Delivered through our data center campus model, we provide our customers with secure, scalable and high-performance data hosting solutions.DATA4'S VALUES At DATA4, our values are central to everything we do.They define how we work, make decisions, and support our clients : Entrepreneurial spirit - We are proactive doers who act with autonomy, energy, and responsibility Sense of responsibility - Toward our teams, society, and the environment Adaptability - We are built to adjust to today's challenges and anticipate tomorrow's ABOUT THE ROLE This position is part of DATA4's Technical Department.Reporting to the Head of Design & Construction for Southern Europe, the Junior Project Manager plays a hands-on role, primarily supporting the Senior Project Manager during the handover phase of data center construction projects in Italy.The role offers exposure to the entire project lifecycle - from permitting and design through to final delivery - providing an opportunity to learn, grow, and gradually assume greater responsibility.It represents an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong potential and initial experience in construction or real estate development.RESPONSIBILITIES The Junior Project Manager will contribute to the delivery of Design & Construction projects in Italy, ensuring that quality, cost, and deadlines are met, in close coordination with the Senior Project Manager.Types of projects : Power supply infrastructure Global campus works (underground networks, utilities, etc.) Data centers Office buildings Fit-out works post-delivery (data halls, offices) Supported by : A Senior Project Manager (direct mentoring and supervision) External consultants (architects, PM firms, H&S coordinators, commissioning agents) The internal DATA4 engineering team (design validation, procurement, commissioning...) MAIN ACTIVITIES - DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT Administrative Phase Support in managing administrative procedures (permits, regulatory approvals) Coordinate with architects, design firms, and authorities until permits are granted Design Phase Participate in client and internal stakeholder meetings to define requirements Follow up on technical design and ensure alignment with project needs Act as a liaison between Design and Operations teams Construction & Commissioning Phase Assist in monitoring daily progress on site with the Senior PM Ensure compliance with safety regulations and construction standards Coordinate with key service providers (utilities, control offices, design firms, etc.) Help interface with clients (hyperscalers and large accounts) throughout the project Participate in the commissioning process and internal technical handover preparation Handover & Project Reception Support the handover process from construction to operations Assist in collecting and verifying technical documentation (as-built drawings, procedures, training materials) Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure smooth knowledge
