The Human Technopole Foundation (HT) is an interdisciplinary research institute, created and supported by the Italian government, whose aim is to develop innovative strategies to promote human health and healthy aging through a multidisciplinary and integrated approach, combining genomics, computational biology, structural biology, neuroscience and health data science.HT scientists work together to enable interdisciplinary research and to create an open, collaborative environment to help promote life science research nationally and internationally.In line with its mission to serve the research community at large, HT operates National Facilities, specifically aimed at making HT's technologies, methods and tools available to the national scientific community.The Human Technopole Foundation is looking for a MEP Specialist.The role, part of the Campus Development & Facility Management Team, will support the Design, Authorisation and Verification Manager in projects related to the set-up of the National Platforms.The successful candidate will be involved on MEP systems for ensuring with consultants, contractors and other HT departments that projects are completed on time and within budget, according to researchers' needs, while complying with applicable technical regulations.Your main tasks and responsibilities:For the field of competences, contribute in the design review process for Campus development projects to ensure a complete technical assessment both for construction and equipment installation;Coordinate with internal team and engineering consultants/vendors to clarify specific requirements of each project;Support in activities related to the collection of needs, project scope, project schedule, and project costs;Prepare studies, documentation, technical specifications, reports, drawings of installation details etc. for plants implementation;Design for extraordinary maintenance works on electrical /mechanical plants.Being part of the internal verification team to carry out the project verification under the Procurement Code for validation purposes;Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and internal and external communication;Reporting activities for relevant meetings.Job Requirements:Mandatory requirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience;+3years of experience in similar role;At least one relevant work experience in Italy;Fluency in Italian;Preferred requirements:Knowledge of the Code of Public Contracts (Codice dei Contratti Pubblici);Previous experience in hospital infrastructure or laboratory and facility design or in a large academic institution or in an internationally recognized research organisation;Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office;BIM knowledge;Good English knowledge (at least B1 level);Registered with the Italian Order of Engineers.Organizational and social skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Team player;Accurate and precise;Solid organizational skills.Application InstructionsPlease apply online sending:motivation letter in English (Note: Please combine your motivation letter and CV into a single document and submit it accordingly).WHY HUMAN TECHNOPOLE?Our working environment isinternational,friendlyandinclusive.Our scientistswork together across disciplineson research topics of biomedical relevance,leveraging synergiesbetween their diverse skillsets and methodological approaches.We believe thathighly diverse teams yield the best and most innovative results.Work-life balance provisionsItalian language training for foreignersParental leave up to 1 year and other support for new parentsCounselingSpecial consideration will be given to candidates who are part of the protected categories list, according to L. *****.Number of positions offered:1Contract offered:CCNL Collective Agreement Chimico Farmaceutico, employee level, permanent contract.The Foundation reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to extend, suspend, modify, revoke, or cancel this job posting without giving rise to any rights or claims whatsoever in favour of the candidates; the Foundation reserves, however, the right not to proceed with the awarding of the above-described assignment due to the effect of supervening regulatory provisions and/or obstructive circumstances.#J-*****-Ljbffr
