Data Handling Engineer Join the team at Thales Alenia Space , a global space manufacturer delivering high-tech solutions for telecommunications, navigation, Earth observation, environmental management, exploration, science and orbital infrastructures.We are a joint venture between Thales (67%) and Leonardo (33%) with a mission to connect, secure, observe, protect, explore, travel and navigate the space environment.We are looking for a Data Handling Engineer to design innovative solutions and meet our customers' needs.Candidate Profile Graduated with a Master's degree in Electronics, Aeronautical/Space Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.Proven experience in software and/or hardware, systems engineering and IVVQ activities.Continuous learning mindset and passion for innovative design.Experience or interest in requirement management, development, test, integration or validation.Team player with collaborative work ethic.Systems and organization view with mentoring willingness.Resourceful, analytical, structured, open-minded, curious, rigorous, logical and ambitious.Competencies Quick system understanding (stakeholders, interactions, products, environment).Design-to-cost approach knowledge.Adaptable to change.Familiar with DOORS, Polarion, TFS, JIRA.Network configuration and administration familiarity.Experience leading engineering projects or activities.System Engineering Role Analyse and understand customer needs through advanced studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes.Formalise specifications and architecture to propose the best solution/product to clients.Prepare and carry out integration, verification and validation tests.Define test plans and procedures for system level testing.Ensure technical integration and coherence of system design, interfaces, and performances.Design the architecture of the command and control system.Demonstrate the solution to the customer.Your Career at Thales Future opportunities allow you to discover other domains or sites.You will evolve and grow your competencies in different areas: personal development, product discovery, international career within a leading engineering group, technical expert or leadership path.At Thales Alenia Space we provide careers and not only jobs.With around 8,900 employees in 10 countries and 17 sites, our mobility policy enables you to develop your career at home and abroad.#SpaceForLife.Great journeys start here, apply now#J-*****-Ljbffr
