Join to apply for theTechnical Training Control Instructorrole atBaker Hughes3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for theTechnical Training Control Instructorrole atBaker HughesAre you passionate in providing technical training in world class equipment and technologies?Be part of a successful teamOurIndustrial & Energy Technology (IET)team provides industry-leading products and services that optimize the extraction, production, and processing of energy.As a team with integrity, we create value with impactful decisions by effectively connecting ideas and people.Partner with the bestTheIndustrial & Energy Technology (IET)Internal Technical Training team is chartered with the development and delivery of state-of-the-art employee technical training courses providing high quality, capable field service representatives for the Global Service business to apply across the oil & gas cycle.ResponsibilitiesServe as an assigned member of the IET GTS Internal Technical Training staff at the Training Academy.He/she is qualified to conduct training sessions using approved training materials, and is allowed to make revisions to training materials, include changes in scope or learning objectives as approved by Technical Training Academy team.Take leadership role in working with Training Academy members to define, develop and deliver training courses for BH and multi-vendor products (classroom, laboratory and workshop – Hands On).Responsible for development and delivery to IET population as well as Global Operations Field Service Engineers (both entry level and advanced) technical training courses on IET equipment including scheduling supplemental support, ordering materials/tooling and other essential resources to instruct both classroom and workshop Hands On activities.Able to leverage Virtual and 3D environments as a Training aids during the lessons.Able to deliver training in different Countries according to the IET Strategy and TA training calendar.Integrate applicable business processes into the technical training programs.Course Scheduling & Logistics per strategic business requests which may include, but not be limited to, ordering and coordinating shipment of the necessary equipment, tools and consumables in order to deliver the assigned courses.Documentation & Record keeping (leverage technical reference materials where appropriate in training session, update course material and conduct student performance evaluations)Own & Drive course content improvement delivering on specific session CTQ'sLeverage business subject matter experts as extended training team members where appropriate.He/she will need to align and revise the courses content and material according to the IET GTS Quality procedures applicable.He/she should actively contribute to the development and maintenance of the Field Service Engineers certification tests.He/she will be responsible for the classroom setup before the beginning of the lessons and after the end of them.Fuel your passionMaster's Degree in Electronics or Software programming.Must know PLC programmingShould have Generators and GPP knowledgeMust be a self-starter, able to work on their own initiativeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of interpersonal skills, collaboration, and integrityFluent spoken English essential.Experience with adult learning conceptsGood knowledge of Energy and/or Petroleum Market/Applications + BH IET product portfolio.Excellent PC skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)Ability to read technical drawings / schematicsValid passport and driver's licenseAbility to travel globally (30%+)Work in a way that works for youWorking remotely from home or any other work location (up to 2 days a week).Starting early / finishing early.Starting late / finishing late.Working flexible hours -
