On behalf of our Client a global pharmaceutical company, IQVIA is looking for an Accountant & Controller who can join an exciting working environment in a dynamic atmosphere.The position will be based in our Milan office.RESPONSIBILITIES As part of the company's growth and further professionalization, we are now looking for an experienced, proactive and team-oriented Accountant & Controller to support the Finance Director Italy and our developing team.The successful candidate must demonstrate great flexibility in dealing with a wide range of activities and be able to work independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment.Main responsibilities include Support of the Finance Director ItalyGeneral ledger accounting in SAPTakeover of accounts payable (including invoice processing in Coupa)Commercial control of (travel) expense reports in ConcurManagement of accounts receivable (due date monitoring, dunning letters)Release and monitoring of customer ordersVAT fulfillmentsSupport with annual planning and forecastsPreparation of analyses and reportsMonthly and annual financial statements supportCommunication with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customersSupport in procurement activities, including vendor managementGenerating, monitoring, revising of purchase orders and exception formsAssistance with budget trackingClose collaboration with the external accounting company and joint solution of invoicing problems, including direct contact to the suppliers.Special project supportREQUIREMENTS Accounting degree or business degreeExperience in financial accounting in a medium-sized company (ideally in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry)First experience in controlling (financial planning, ad hoc analyses and reports)Efficient and effective verbal and written communication skills in Italian and EnglishAdvanced experience with MS Excel and first experience with SAP (FI).Coupa and Concur will be a plusAbility to prioritize, dealing with changing priorities and workloadAbility to work independently with high focus on target groups and a pro-active approach to deliver high-quality resultsStrong internal and external stakeholder management skillsPragmatic attitude and ability to learn quicklyInclusiveness and effective teamwork and collaboration skillsTYPE OF CONTRACT Temporary contract, starting with 12 months contract.IQVIA reserves the right to evaluate candidates with domicile / residence and work experience / study with requirements responding to the open request.Applications WITHOUT the requirements Will NOT be fully taken into account.Please enter the authorization for the processing of personal data (DL**********) - General Data Protection Regulation (13 GDPR ******** –) to IQVIA and to transfer those data to IQVIA's Clients.The research is urgent and is intended for candidates of both sexes (L.********).#J-*****-Ljbffr
