Software Application Engineer (m/f/d) Smart Manufacturing Software Solution - Semiconductor IndustryINFICON is a leading provider of innovative instrumentation, critical sensor technologies, and Smart Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 software solutions that enhance productivity and quality of tools, processes, and complete factories.These analysis, measurement and control products are essential for gas leak detection in air conditioning/refrigeration and automotive manufacturing.They are vital to equipment manufacturers and end-users in the complex fabrication of semiconductors and thin film coatings for optics, flat panel displays, solar cells and industrial vacuum coating applications.Other users of our vacuum-based processes include the life sciences, research, aerospace, packaging, heat treatment, laser cutting and many other industrial processes.We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.Responsibilities:Represent INFICON FPS to your clients both on site and on frequent remote calls.Effectively interface with a broad range of client stakeholders including operators, process engineers, industrial engineers, Fab managers, IT, and Executives.Manage the entire project life cycle by developing and maintaining the schedule to meet project goals, defining clear deliverables, determining what expertise is required, and producing estimates of program/project requirements based on changing client needs.Work closely with other members of the FPS apps engineering team including frequent communication with Program Manager and Commercial Manager for your sites.Work closely with the FPS software development team (EMEA, US, Asia) including providing feedback on applications, communicating new feature requests, performing QA for new versions, and managing deployments.Frequent communication with Program Manager and Key Account Manager for your sites.Develop training material, provide on-site training, and update FPS Help Site as needed.Travel may be required on average of 30% but will vary based on projects' status.Qualifications:3+ years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing.Diploma, Master's degree or higher in engineering or computer science.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with industrial engineering concepts.Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle.Effective communication skills and comfortable presenting to groups.PowerPoint and presentation generation skills.Self-starter with strong self-management.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at the same time.Excellent Italian and English skills; French or German would be an advantage.INFICON offers a dynamic working environment that promotes diversity, equality and inclusion.Our appreciative, innovative and vibrant corporate culture can be felt in everything we do and how we do it.What you will find with us?Smart and friendly colleagues who value team spirit, a positive attitude and reliability, and who never miss out on the fun.Room for bold ideas and creative collaboration.Opportunities for further training and development.Joint celebration of successes (and mistakes... they are invaluable for our continuous development).Regular employee events (summer party, ski day, Christmas party, TeamDays).Take your next career step with usWould you like to find out more about us and what it's like to be part of the INFICON family?Explore INFICON under Career | INFICON.#J-*****-Ljbffr
