About Maritime Ventures Maritime Ventures is a venture builder supported by CDP Venture Capital, together with leading industrial, financial, and innovation players from Italy and Germany.Our mission is to launch 10 high-impact startups to drive the digital and sustainable transformation of the maritime industry.Backed by key partners like Fincantieri, PSA Italy and Intesa Sanpaolo, among others, we provide a unique ecosystem where experienced founders, technologists, and operators collaborate to turn bold ideas into scalable companies.About BOMARINOBOMARINO is one of the flagship ventures born within Maritime Ventures.It is a smart vessel assistant that centralizes all technical, operational, and maintenance data of a boat or yacht – turning disorganized documentation and fragmented support into a seamless, AI-powered experience.By connecting shipyards, owners, and service providers, BOMARINO helps users manage their vessel's lifecycle with predictive maintenance, real-time insights, and access to trusted suppliers and technicians.The platform is designed for both B2B and B2B2C markets, with early validation from potential users in the leisure and small-commercial boating segments.BOMARINO is currently in product development with strong traction and backing, and we are now looking for a CEO/Entrepreneur in Residence to lead the venture into the next phase of growth.TasksAs Entrepreneur in Residence & CEO, you will:- Drive the venture from early-stage product development to successful go-to-market execution- Validate the business model and lead the first customer acquisition efforts- Build and lead a high-performing founding team- Manage relationships with shipyards, owners, and tech/service partners- Collaborate with venture building experts to develop financial models, pitch decks, and fundraising strategies- Raise the remaining part of the seed round (50% already committed)- Represent the company to investors and key ecosystem stakeholdersRequirements- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on attitude- Experience in early-stage start-ups, ideally as a founder or first hire- Proven ability to raise funds from angel investors and VCs, and to craft compelling, investor-ready narratives- 10+ years of professional experience- Deep domain exposure to maritime, boating, and/or vessel maintenance- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills- Fluency in English and Italian- Willingness to re-locate to Italy and work on-site (optional Genova or Trieste)Benefits- Founder-level equity in a validated, high-potential venture- Access to Maritime Ventures' entire ecosystem of strategic partners, industry mentors, and investors- The opportunity to lead a start-up that is transforming one of the world's oldest industries with cutting-edge technology- Hands-on venture building support from Bridgemaker and Cariplo Factory- Direct collaboration with CDP Venture Capital and major maritime industry players- A chance to shape the future of intelligent boating and lifecycle managementIf you are ready to launch and lead a venture that could redefine digital operations in the maritime world, we would love to hear from you.Apply now and let's build BOMARINO together.#J-*****-Ljbffr
