OverviewAmazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Systems Development Engineer II for the Analytics Agentic AI GovCloud team.The role focuses on delivering AWS Agentic AI services to government customers in air-gapped, GovCloud environments.The position requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph level and supports large-scale, distributed solutions across multiple regions.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, deploy, and operate AWS Agentic AI services that enable customers to optimize their data.Lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve contentious issues and foster constructive dialogue.Automate operational tasks, develop open-source solutions, and support security campaigns (block software, host patching).Design and architect scalable, reliable systems with emphasis on networking, storage, and operating systems fundamentals.Drive process improvement, streamline operations, and influence technical strategy across ADC partitions and regions.Day in the LifeInfluence technical strategy and make data-driven decisions on architectural and operational choices.Write code in modern languages (Java, Python, C++, Go) to solve complex system problems and build tools.Collaborate with partner teams to resolve operational challenges, automate tasks, and build open-source solutions.Champion bias for action, invent and simplify, insist on the highest standards, and deliver results.Lead resolution of contention points and facilitate constructive dialogue across cross-functional teams.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.3+ years of professional software development experience.Programming experience with at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Go, PowerShell, Ruby).Systems engineering fundamentals: networking, storage, operating systems.1+ year of designing or architecting scalable, reliable systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).Preferred Qualifications5+ years of hands-on systems engineering experience (networking, storage, OS).Experience in an Agile environment using Scrum methodology.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.Active US Government security clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.Equal Opportunity EmployerAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, please visitfor more information.Benefits and CompensationThe base salary range for this position is Colorado $129,200 – $174,800 annually.Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.For additional details, visit.#J-*****-Ljbffr
