SYSTRA is one of the world's leading engineering and consultancy groups specialising in public transport and sustainable mobility.With over 10,300 employees, SYSTRA's mission is to design safe and sustainable transport solutions to bring people together, develop social inclusion and facilitate access to employment, education and leisure throughout the world.For 65 years, the Group has been working alongside cities and regions to contribute to their development by creating, improving and modernising their infrastructure and transport systems, throughout the life cycle of their projects.SYSTRA is involved from the earliest stages of design through to the testing, deployment and maintenance phases.The company provides all its services in over 80 countries worldwide and generates 74% of its turnover internationally.With its new services, SYSTRA supports its clients and partners in their digital, ecological and energy transition, in order to invent the mobility of tomorrow.ContextWe are looking for Structural Engineers to be assigned on various transport infrastructure's projects, both for Italian and foreign offices.Missions/Main DutiesThe engineers will be assigned to specific contracts, and they will work in a team.The project teams will work in organized mode, operating on the basis of an activity plan defined by SYSTRA SPA in agreement with the various clients.The allocation of resources to the various projects is handled by the technical management.Profile/SkillsQualifications & Experience requiredMaster's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.At least 3/5 years of experience in project engineering, ideally in the field of transport infrastructure.Strong proficiency in written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).Proven experience in design and analysis of various structural systems, including but not limited to:Steel, reinforced concrete, and precast concrete structures.Prestressed and post-tensioned concrete.Composite steel and concrete structures.Knowledge of design codes and standards for structural analysis.Familiarity with modern structural design software.Proficiency in Italian (both written and spoken) is highly preferred.Systra is an equal opportunities company; this position is open to all applicants.
