Field Service Engineer / Pharmaceutical Automation TechnicianDo you enjoy the practical hands-on elements of engineering and have the desire to work on industry-leading, highly complex pharmaceutical equipment?Ready for your calling?This specialist equipment manufacturer is searching for a well-rounded Service Engineer / Service Technician to join their team.(Equipment training provided).Why This Company?This leading automation manufacturer has grown 20% over the past 12 months.With new customers and market demand for their equipment they have ambitious plans to expand their support function across Europe.Operating in rapidly expanding markets such as pharmaceuticals, they pride themselves on detailed attention to customer needs and dedication to the highest standards of performance and quality.Rewards & Benefits€40K - €48K Basic Salary (dependent on experience)Additional 1 Month Salary paid as a bonus each DecemberPerformance Bonus€*****K Overtime (paid at 1.5x)€600 Vacation PayCompany Car (with private use allowed)Travel ExpensesAll local requirements – Pension, Healthcare, Holidays etc.About The RoleAs a Service Engineer / Service Technician you will work from a home office and be responsible for:Operating in an 80% mechanical and 20% electrical role.Working within a service engineering team supporting pharmaceutical manufacturers across Italy.Attending a low number of customer calls as each case can be extremely complicated and time consuming.On rare occasions operating as part of an installation team to complete new equipment installations, commissioning and user training.Supporting customers outside of Italy should an emergency occur requiring your support.Working to preventative maintenance and installation work which is often booked 2-3 months in advance, whilst also reacting to more pressing breakdowns and repairs.Working with the engineering planner to coordinate activities and movements.Conducting routine service and calibration work, alongside more reactive maintenance, including fault finding, problem resolution and repair.Completing service visit reports.About YouAt least 2+ years of service engineering / technician experience, gained working on complex pharmaceutical automation equipment (robotics, conveyors, pick/place or other pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment).Advanced level English and good level of Italian; multiskilled with a mechanical focus.Comfortable with travel and nights away when needed.A degree level education is beneficial, but not essential, as is experience working in a cleanroom or sterile environment.Essential: logical and methodical approach to finding faults and comfortable with travel and spending time away from home.Valid local driving licence, right to work in Italy; no sponsorship offered.Location: Maserà di Padova, Veneto, Italy.If you are a great fit for this role, we will be in touch within the next couple of days.Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to hearing from you.#J-*****-Ljbffr
