Manpower is looking for a Junior Accountant for a leading company in customs and transport services.ResponsibilitiesThe role involves managing accounts payable, treasury operations, and general accounting activities. Key tasks include invoice recording, payment processing, preparation of accruals, and support for month-end and year-end closing. The position also requires handling VAT and tax reports, maintaining relationships with auditors and tax advisors, and assisting in the preparation of documentation for external audits.RequirementsPrevious experience in accounting is preferredGood knowledge of basic accounting procedures and GAAP principlesFamiliarity with financial statements and general ledger functionsHands-on experience with SAP or similar accounting softwareAdvanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, Power BI)Fluent in English (B1/B2 level); French is a plusSoft SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyNumerical aptitude and analytical mindsetAbility to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlinesExcellent communication and organizational skillsProactive attitude and problem-solving capabilityContract DetailsDuration: 1-year temporary contract through ManpowerLocation: Rome, Via TiburtinaLevel: 2 under CCNL CommercioWorking hours: Full-time, daytime scheduleBenefits: Meal vouchers worth €7.40 per working day
