Cyber Security Manager– Lead the protection of Leaf Space's infrastructure.Who We AreLeaf Space is a rapidly growingscale-up companyand a leading provider of ground segment as-a-service (GSaaS) solutions.Our innovative, proprietary concept focuses on satellite and launch vehicle connectivity as-a-service, enabling clients to manage their assets efficiently and fully exploit data.GSaaS solutions are recognized for their efficiency, security, and effectiveness across applications from remote sensing to IoT communications.Life at Leaf SpaceWe operate with a flat structure, grow economically and in people, and work in a professional, autonomous, fast-paced environment.We prioritize top talent and cultivate a collaborative, high-achieving, supportive workplace.Our core team is headquartered in Lomazzo (Como), Italy, with a U.S. presence in Northern Virginia.What We OfferComprehensive benefits, flexible remote work options, and support for employee growth.Cyber Security ManagerThe Cyber Security Manager safeguards Leaf Space's corporate and product infrastructures against cyber threats, ensuring compliance with international standards and embedding security practices across company operations.The ground segment infrastructure serves as essential, mission-critical infrastructure for commercial space operations and defense missions at national, European, and international levels.ResponsibilitiesMonitor threats and respond to security incidents across corporate and product environments.Identify and remediate vulnerabilities.Define and implement cyber security architecture, policies, and processes.Conduct secure code reviews and enforce secure development practices.Deliver cyber awareness and training for all employees.Perform regular risk assessments and collaborate with external auditors.Support clients and stakeholders with certifications, due diligence, and security requirements.Drive achievement of sector certifications (NIS2, NIST-*******, ISO *****, etc.) and design/optimization of company-wide security processes.Qualifications and StudiesDegree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or equivalent.Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH or equivalent.RequirementsTech skills.3–5 years of experience in cyber security roles.Strong hands-on experience in incident response, penetration testing, vulnerability management, crisis management.Solid knowledge of international standards (ISO *****, NIS2, GDPR, NIST).Knowledge of Italian cybersecurity directives is a plus.Soft skills (language).Analytical mindset, autonomy, and problem-solving approach.Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Italian at B2 level is a strong advantage.Employer EligibilityReports to: CPOJob location: LomazzoExpected start date: Mid-DecemberJob type: Full-timeStrategic visibility as guardian of compliance and client trust.Strong influence on company-wide decisions and international project security.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesSatellite Telecommunications#J-*****-Ljbffr
