Virtual Analysis Durability Engineer (Ref.XX****)EUR ***************2 giorni faThe Virtual Analysis Durability Engineer works within the Propulsion Systems Virtual Engineering team and collaborates with Product Release Centers (PRCs) and cross-functional Stellantis teams to support product development through CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) in stress and fatigue analysis.This role reports to the Virtual Analysis Lead.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and validate finite element (FE) models for structural analysis.Execute simulations on propulsion system components and subsystems for stress and fatigue under multiple load combinations (semi-static, deterministic, road input, random excitations).Perform optimization analyses to achieve optimal durability, NVH, weight and other performance trade-offs.Conduct detailed root-cause studies and validate enablers to meet target performance.Demonstrate virtual analysis confidence through correlation activities.Coordinate CAE execution for propulsion system programs, delivering status versus target and proactively identifying enablers.Provide technical synthesis, reporting and clear communication with executive summaries and risk mitigation plans.Engage with STLA stakeholders for steering activities : data collection, assumptions validation, results revision and communication.QualificationsMaster of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Applied Physics or related engineering field.Advanced knowledge of CAE pre-processing (HyperWorks, ANSA), structural analysis (Abaqus, NASTRAN, OptiStruct) and fatigue software (FEMFAT, nCODE).Experience with commercial CAD (NX, Teamcenter).Prior experience in structural (stress and fatigue) analysis of propulsion systems, including ICE, conventional / electrified transmissions, electric drive modules and batteries.Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).Excellent work ethic, organization and team collaboration.Proficiency in written and oral English.Comprehensive health, disability and wellness coverage.Annual incentive plan and 401(k) with employer match.Paid time off including holidays, vacation, floating days and personal leave.Paid parental leave, domestic partner benefits and family building resources.Professional growth opportunities, training, tuition reimbursement and group memberships.Company vehicle program and discounts for family and friends.EOE / Disability / VeteranStellantis is an equal opportunity employer.We welcome applications from all qualified individuals regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation or disability.Virtual Analysis Durability Engineer RefXX**** • Rome, Italy#J-*****-Ljbffr
