Amazon never asks for fees or deposits in any form during recruitment process.Please click here to learn more and safeguard yourself from potential fraudsElectrical/Mechanical Engineering Technician - Data CenterJob ID: | Amazon Data Services IsraelAmazon is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented individual to join our Data Center Engineering Operations Team.This committed group works to maintain the critical physical infrastructure that supports Amazon Web Services.Specifically, this team works to ensure that the data center's MEP operates at 100% availability while maintaining first-class customer service to the teams and groups within the data centers.The Data Center Engineering Operations Facility Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center.This person serves as a technical resource to support Amazon within its owned and operated data centers.Data center equipment that supports mission-critical servers must maintain better than ******% uptime.DCEO Facility Engineers are also tasked with driving innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities.DCEO Facility Engineer's are Amazon's front line responders for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation.This equipment includes, but is not limited to, stand-by diesel generators, switchgear, UPS's, PDU's, AHU's, chillers, cooling towers, chemical treatment systems, pumps, motors, VFD's, and building automation systems.Key Job ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.Troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal SLA.Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work.Able to work an 8/12 hour shift (rotating work days during the weeks).Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment.Utilize internal CMMS to manage building workflows.Basic QualificationsHigh school or equivalent diploma1+ years of electrical or mechanical experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience leading and managing operations of critical facilities which require in-depth knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and control systemsKnowledge of generic mechanical room infrastructure such as chillers, cooler units, and fan controlsKnowledge of key electrical competencies and theoryKnowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls)Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
