Are you a Field Service Engineer looking for an interesting opportunity?Do you enjoy installation and maintenance?Join our Field Service teamOur Industry & Energy Technology (IET) team provides industry-leading products and services that optimize the extraction, production, and processing of energy.We help a diverse range of customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity.Our team plays an integral role by helping the business plan for the future.As a diverse and inclusive workplace, Baker Hughes IET values the unique perspectives and backgrounds of its employees.In this role, you will have the opportunity to bring your individual experiences and insights, contributing to a rich tapestry of ideas and fostering a culture of inclusivity.Partner with the bestAs a Mechanical Field Service Engineer – Heavy-Duty Gas Turbines, you will play a vital role onsite with our customers.You will lead installation, maintenance, and repair activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe and compliant installations.Your responsibilities include:Providing technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labor, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality.Overseeing overhaul, troubleshooting, and commissioning of Centrifugal/Reciprocating Compressor products at customer sites.Leading customer and contractor meetings to share and update action plans and advise on technical solutions.Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Hold a technical diploma.Have a good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment.Display a good customer-service orientation and experience leading customers through tough decisions.Communicate complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.Be aware of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks.Be a motivated self-starter who can make key decisions and innovate solutions.Have excellent command and understanding of verbal and written English.Hold an EU passport/European work permit and have strong verbal and written Italian language skills.Be ready to travel significantly (up to 80%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities.Work in a way that works for youFlexible working patterns include:Travel to and work on customer sites in line with customer requirements, with work hours and duration dictated by those requirements.In between assignments you will have free time in line with Baker Hughes working-time guidelines and fatigue management provisions.Working with usWe invest in the health and well-being of our workforce, train and reward talent, and develop leaders at all levels to bring out the best in each other.Working for youWe offer:Contemporary work-life balance policies and wellbeing activities.Comprehensive private medical care options.Safety net of life insurance and disability programs.Tailored financial programs.Additional elected or voluntary benefits.#J-*****-Ljbffr
