Join to apply for the Subsea Engineer role at Hill International, Inc.6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Subsea Engineer role at Hill International, Inc.Job DescriptionHill International is looking for a Subsea Engineer for one of our oil and gas projects based in Milano.Job DescriptionHill International is looking for a Subsea Engineer for one of our oil and gas projects based in Milano.ResponsibilitiesMain responsibilities:Ensure that all necessary technical interfaces with other systems or activities belonging to the Project are considered by the Contractor at all times;To ensure the overall performance, installability and operability of subsea systemsTo assist the preparation of user manual and installation procedure by Contractor and assist installation campaignAssuring that the design meets Project requirements, applicable standards and engineering best practices, developing COMPANY's know-how in this area;Consistency, quality and cost effectiveness of project design of the subsea production system in compliance with all applicable codes, COMPANY standards and specifications, Contract, International Standards and Engineering Best PracticesSite Inspection and Interfacing with Contractor on technical and Delivery issuesEnsuring Delivery of the Subsea Components in line with the Project objectives, Technical interfaces and RequirementsKey ActivitiesAssisting the SPS Lead / Package Manager in the following:Follow up the detail Engineering performed by the SPS Contractor relevant to Subsea Production Tree systems, subsea tie—ins, ROV tools and subsea structuresReviewing and commenting technical documentation produced by the Contractors (e.g. reports, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.) ensuring the implementation of the established procedures, applicable codes, COMPANY standards and specification, Contract, International Standards and Engineering Best practicesResolving ongoing technical queries / issues concerning all aspects of the subsea equipmentMonitoring and Reporting Technical Progress to the SPS Lead / Package ManagerEnsure that all internal and external interfaces are correctly managed by ContractorWitness of SUI, FAT, SIT, EFATQualificationsEngineering DegreeAt least 7 years of engineering experience in Oil & Gas IndustryAt least 5 years subsea engineering experienceAt least 2 similar activities (subsea EPC project follow up)Excellent spoken and written English and proven ability to write specifications and reportsAbout UsHill International, with more than 4,100+ professionals in over 100 offices worldwide, provides program management, project management, construction management, project management oversight, advisory, facilities management, and other consulting services to clients in a variety of market sectors.
