join our Medium and High Voltage (MVHV) Cable Systems team.This role is designed to serve as a technical liaison between our customers, sales teams, and engineering groups.The Product Specialist will play a critical role in understanding customer needs, addressing technical inquiries, and representing UL's technical capabilities in customer engagements.This is a strategic position that supports sales efforts through technical expertise and solution-oriented thinking.ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary technical contact for customer inquiries, providing clear and accurate information about UL's Medium and High Voltage (MVHV) Cable products and services.Collaborate closely with sales teams to support pre-sales activities, including technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution development.Gather and analyze customer feedback and requirements, translating them into actionable insights for the product and engineering teams.Work with engineering and product development to ensure customer needs are considered in product design and enhancements.Represent UL's technical strengths and capabilities in customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.Develop and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and training materials to support internal and external stakeholders.Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to inform product strategy and positioning.Enhance and advance a zero-incident safety culture and behavior.Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.Performs other duties as directed.Willing to travel over *****% to customer's facilities and job site, including global travels.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.Advanced degree or technical certifications are a plus.5-8 years of relevant experience in a technical customer-facing role, such as product support, technical sales, or solutions engineering.Strong understanding of product development processes and technical concepts.Very good level of English language.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.Able to handle multiple assignments concurrently without direct supervision.Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Experience in the testing, certification, or compliance industry is a plus.Knowledge and experience in related industrial and international standards for MV/HV cable systems, including but not limited to ICEA/AEIC, IEEE, IEC, and CIGRE standards.Working experiences in medium and high voltage (MVHV) cable systems, MVHV or high power laboratories, manufacturers, utilities, developers, EPCs, is a plus.Total RewardsWe understand compensation is an important factor as
