Due to intensive development of Beiersdorf Shared Services we recently established the Accounting Department responsible for one of our luxury brands.We are hiring for people willing to shape the young organization actively to establish it as a regional center of excellence in future.You will join our international accounting team work in an international environment with a great atmosphere and numerous opportunities for professional growth.Your tasks will mainly focus on providing:Contact (Business Partner) for the Finance Manager of our Italian affiliate in all financial accounting matters.This requires very close cooperation with the local organizationPeriodical closing of the books in the group ledger cost center accounting and preparation of statements of income (SOI) in accordance with IFRS and group specific guidelines yaseManage Italian tax compliance activities (VAT withholding taxes INTRA reporting income tax and IRAP returns annual declarations social contributions and quarterly/annual filings) with the support of external tax advisors and colleagues.Oversee year-end closing and statutory reporting (trial balance tax calculation preparation of financial statements and XBRL package coordination of Board and Shareholder approvals and filing with the Companies Register) in close cooperation with internal finance teams and external consultants.Detailed documentation exists for all steps and the successful candidate should be comfortable leveraging these materials to ensure compliance and accuracySelf-reliant analysis and documentation of accounts and financial statementsSupporting the team for current account in OTC/PTP beside RTR activitiesYour ProfileHigh sense of ownership, positive can-do mindset and ability to navigate through uncertainty, high level of flexibilityKnowledge of Italian local GAAP and international accounting standards (IFRS) is mustWillingness to consult with advisors and dive deep into the existing comprehensive documentationConfident handling of SAP (FI/CO)Fluent in Italian and EnglishThis position has the option to work 100% remote from anywhere within Italy if it is not possible for you to work recurringly from our office in Milano.In a remote scenario occasional travel for visiting the Italian affiliate team business trips in Poland or training may be required.Please note that independent from the chosen setup the position is embedded withing the structures of our Beiersdorf in Italy.Please send CVs in EnglishKey SkillsSRP systemsFinancial Statement PreparationAccounting SoftwareHyperionFinancial Report WritingGAAPGeneral Ledger AccountingAccountingRegulatory ReportingAccount ReconciliationSOXFinancial AnalysisEmployment Type: Full-TimeExperience: yearsVacancy: 1Financial Accountant • Milano, Lombardy, Italy#J-*****-Ljbffr
