Mediobanca is the leading investment bank in Italy.Internationally our footprint includes branches in London, Madrid, Paris and New York.Since Mediobanca was founded in ****, we have been helping Italian businesses growth with premier advisory services and a complete range of credit solutions, offering customized services and the most sophisticated solutions on financial markets, from advisory to lending, capital markets to specialty finance.With our long-standing presence, solid market position, distinctive specialization, excellent service quality and professionals of the finest calibre, Mediobanca's corporate customers know they can count on the excellence and exclusivity that have earned us an impeccable reputation over time.Our clients include some of the leading business groups in Italy, plus a significant number of mid-size corporates, to whom we have devoted particular attention over the past ten years.Increasing focus is also being placed on our international clients, for both their cross-border needs and domestic operations.We have introduced new products and targeted new clients in order to meet the challenges posed by today's highly competitive financial markets.As ever it is our clients, along with our professionals and the soundness of our finances, which represent the core values of Mediobanca.We are looking for an intern to join the CIB Operations unit, which performs Business & Financial Management functions for the Investment Banking division at Mediobanca.The CIB Operations unit is a multidimensional, front-office support team, with the mission to facilitate the daily operation of the businesses within Investment Bank, including:- Business Management & Strategy: collaborating and supporting senior management to address the pivotal initiatives of the division, developing and driving strategic business plans, and analyzing performance measurements to facilitate key decision-making.The team is responsible for a variety of functions, including CRM management, data integrity, and cost management support.The team also collaborates in ensuring compliance with rules and regulations, navigating the evolving regulatory landscape, and innovating to reduce operational and conduct risk, in close coordination with the relevant Group functions.- Business Change: delivering design, process, infrastructure, and organizational change while ensuring alignment with the strategy, target state, and objectives of the CIB division.The Intern will have unparalleled exposure and access to the senior management and strategic initiatives of a leading financial institution.The ideal candidate is a critical thinker seeking a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working on complex and diversified problems that are critical to the long-term success of Mediobanca.The ideal candidate will have:- A relentless work ethic and team-based attitude- A confident, ambitious outlook and the ability to work effectively under pressure- An exceptional attention to detail- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint- Strong interest in Finance, Accounting, General Business Management, or Business LawStarting Date: January ****Diversity & Inclusion are core values for the Mediobanca Group.All applications are welcome; we value age, background, ability, personal orientation and gender expression diversity.
