Overviewteam.blue is an ecosystem of 60+ successful brands working together across 22 European countries to provide its 3.5 million SMB customers with everything they need to succeed online by offering best-in-class expertise and services.team.blue's brands are a mix of traditional hosting businesses that offer services from domain names, email, shared hosting, e-commerce, and server hosting solutions and, as specialist SaaS providers, adjacent products such as compliance, marketing tools, and team collaboration products.This broad product offering makes it a one-stop partner for online businesses and entrepreneurs across Europe.Tooling team and roleThe Tooling team maintains a set of tools and services, used by the infra/ops and software dev teams.This includes platforms such as:GitlabHarbor (container registry)Monitoring suite: Nagios, Thruk, SNClientGrafanaSentryHCP VaultOpensearchWe are looking for someone to set-up and maintain these environments, together with the existing Tooling team.You will be at the base of deploying, improving and securely hosting these platforms.Key responsibilitiesDeploy new tools, with a focus on automation and securityMaintain and update existing environments; proactively troubleshoot issuesHelp out with operational inquiries from colleaguesSuggest and implement improvementsResearch, test, and recommend new technologies to improve our set of tools and workflowsSkills And ExperienceSolid knowledge of Linux distributions (ideally Debian/AlmaLinux) and their core components (iptables, systemd, kernel, unix tools)Hands-on experience with popular open-source technologies such as Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, Docker, Git; familiar with configuration management tools (Ansible)Skilled in scripting (Go, Python, PHP and a pinch of Perl)Basic networking knowledgePassionate about technology, eager to learn, and always curiousYou are proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented—able to take ownership and work independently in a dynamic environmentStrong focus on securityGood English communication skills, both written and verbalCompany values"Come as you are".Everyone is welcome here.Diversity & Inclusion are at our core.Far above any technical competence, we value respect, openness, and trusted collaboration.We do not tolerate intolerance.Right to workAt any stage, please be prepared to provide proof of eligibility to work in the European country you are applying for.Unfortunately, we are unable to support Sponsorship Visas.ESG"At team.blue, our commitment to caring for the environment and each other is at the heart of everything we do.
