Engineering Operations Technician, Data CenterWe are looking for a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team.Data Center Engineering Operations Technician is a hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation responder.If you like to use your electrical and mechanical skills to solve problems, we'd like to meet you.Your work will help to maintain one of the world's largest information system infrastructures.We are currently hiring Data Center Engineering Operations Technicians in our mission-critical data centers in Sweden: Katrineholm.A valid driver's license is required for this role.AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running.We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we're looking for talented people who want to help.You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.Key job responsibilitiesSAFETY– Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture.As a facility owner team, ensure remediation of safety risks/issues in conjunction with other teams.Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster a strong safety culture.ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE– Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS's), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.o Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's)o Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)o Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenancePhysical requirementsManual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations).Ability to work shifts (morning, late and night).On-call rotation reaction to off-duty emergency calls (if applicable).Work at heights and from ladders; in a noisy environment with ear protection.Perform physical tasks during the shift.A day in the lifeMonitoring alarms and systems that manage power, cooling, and fire suppression in the data center.Coordinating vendor work on-site to ensure equipment is maintained and uptime is preserved.Supporting other teams and sites during events and planned works.Handling rack installations and powering up equipment.Monitoring and facilitating the handover of new equipment.Sharing knowledge and supporting new team members.Participating in event response drills.Basic QualificationsHigh school or equivalent diploma.1 to 4 years of knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory;
