White Cap is hiring immediately for a Receiving Associate and Shipping and Receiving Associate – roles that play a key part in helping build America's infrastructure.You'll work in an exciting and diverse environment, meet interesting people, and have a variety of career opportunities.BenefitsComprehensive wellness and financial benefits: White Cap offers excellent benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, and moreRelax and recharge: We offer a generous time off package, including paid maternity, parental leave, sick time, and vacation time.Stability: Since ****, White Cap has doubled in size and continues to grow.Unlimited career potential: White Cap is a stable and growing company offering unlimited career potential.Love where you work: White Cap has been certified as a Great Place to Work.Inclusive culture: Work in a place that values and celebrates who you are.Receiving Associate ResponsibilitiesReceives, counts and stores items.Records receiving data using a computer and company software.Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items properly and accurately.Identifies incorrect or short shipped items and notifies supervisor.Communicates with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues.Delivers products, supplies and equipment to the correct designated area.Works closely with purchasing to track shortages for late / slow delivery.Files purchase orders correctly based on company policy.Performs other duties as assigned.Generally has 0-2 years of experience.Shipping and Receiving Associate ResponsibilitiesEnsures all shipments receive the proper labeling, postal charges, and are packaged to arrive safely.Prints daily sales receipts and cross-checks the computer software to ensure accuracy.Keeps management and supervisors aware of product shortages to maintain accurate information on the company website.Assembles and fills boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped.Prepares detailed and accurate invoices to accompany shipments and ensures all items are packaged and shipped to company standards.Tracks inventory and reports any shortages to sales team.Works with other shipping clerks to see that all invoices are handled promptly and goods are shipped and stored properly.Receives, counts, and stores items.Records receiving data using computer.Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items, using identification tag, stamp, or electronic marking tool or other labeling equipment.Delivers products, supplies, and equipment to designated area.Examines and inspects stock items for wear and defects.Works closely with purchasing to track shortages for late / slow delivery.HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.Specialized skills training / certification may be required.Able to use required PPE at all times.Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience operating a forkliftFamiliarity with hand and power toolsExperience with sales order computer software, preferably OracleKnowledge of construction and industrial productsBilingual – Spanish a plusIf you're looking to play a role in building America, consider one of our open opportunities.We can't wait to meet you.#J-*****-Ljbffr
