Selection 4.0, a technologically advanced company specializing in the search and selection of Middle and Top Management profiles at both national and international levels, is looking for a:Electrical Laboratory Technicianfor a client company, a global leader in the production of transformers.Objective:The candidate will be responsible for the Test Room for the testing of low and medium voltage transformers and inductors.Main responsibilities:Perform routine tests on production;Personally carry out routine and type tests in accordance with major European (IEC) or American (ANSI/UL/CSA) standards;Conduct acceptance tests, planning and verifying compliance with timelines and ensuring customer satisfaction, even in their presence;Verify and maintain the calibration status of the instrument fleet;Develop the strategy for the test room to better respond to the evolving testing needs from customers/RWork closely with R&D and the technical office in performing tests for the characterization of new materials and/or verification of new construction solutions;Position requirements:Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields;At least 5 years of experience in testing transformers or electrical machines;Knowledge of IEC ******** and ANSI C******** standards for transformer testing;Good knowledge of the English language;Knowledge of a second language will be considered a significant plus;Ability to independently research and organize information to understand applications and define testing methods;Initiative and proactive attitude.The ideal candidate will also possess strong analytical skills, organizational and planning abilities, integrity, and professional ethics.Workplace:Province of Varese (Italy)Sector: Electronic industry/AutomationRole: EngineeringJob type: Permanent job#J-*****-Ljbffr
