Join us in building the next generation of iconic collections.About the RoleWe are seeking an accomplished business development consultant with proven expertise in the luxury leather goods sector to drive our strategic expansion across European markets. This role focuses on developing new business partnerships and expanding our client portfolio with emerging and established luxury brands. The ideal candidate will bring both industry credibility and an entrepreneurial approach to market development.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Market ExpansionDesign and implement a comprehensive market entry and growth strategy targeting luxury leather goods brands across key European marketsIdentify, qualify, and secure new client partnerships through proactive outreach, industry networking, and strategic relationship buildingDevelop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiationConduct detailed market analysis to identify emerging brands, market trends, and competitive positioning opportunities Strategic Partnership DevelopmentEstablish Yibi Group as the manufacturing partner of choice for luxury brands seeking innovative leather goods hardware solutionsBuild and nurture C-level relationships with key decision-makers in the luxury leather goods industryRepresent Yibi Group at major industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and generate leadsDevelop tailored partnership proposals that address specific client needs and business objectives Client Relationship & Technical AdvisoryServe as the primary business contact for both prospective and existing clients, ensuring exceptional service deliveryFacilitate technical discussions between clients and our engineering teams, translating client requirements into feasible manufacturing solutionsProvide strategic advice on product development, material selection, and manufacturing processes based on deep industry knowledgeAct as a cultural liaison, bridging business practices between European clients and our manufacturing operations QualificationsProven Business Development Track Record: 10+ years in business development, strategic sales, or partnership management within the luxury leather goods sector, with demonstrated success in new client acquisitionIndustry Credentials: Mandatory experience with at least one of these leading luxury maisons: Chanel, Dior, Bvlgari, Fendi, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Montblanc, CELINESales Achievement: Documented history of exceeding business development targets and successfully expanding market presenceIndustry Network: Established, high-level connections within the European luxury leather goods industry that can generate immediate business opportunitiesTechnical Understanding: Strong knowledge of leather goods construction, hardware components, and manufacturing processesLanguage Requirements: Full professional proficiency in English and either Italian or French Required SkillsExceptional business acumen with strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilitiesStrategic thinking with excellent analytical and market assessment skillsOutstanding communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with senior executivesEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and drive resultsCultural intelligence with deep understanding of European luxury business practices Preferred SkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fieldExperience working in both corporate and consulting environmentsExisting relationships with emerging luxury brands in addition to established houses Pay range and compensation packagePerformance-driven compensation package with attractive commission structureFlexible part-time arrangement with remote/hybrid work optionsStrategic role within a globally recognized manufacturing leaderUnlimited earning potential based on business development resultsPreferred Location: Florence, Italy, with flexibility for the right candidate How to ApplyIf you are an experienced business development professional with a proven track record in the luxury goods sector, we invite you to apply.
