Job Profile: Sustainability Manager Position Type: InternshipReports To: Head of Industrial SustainabilityAbout MDBMDB S.r.l. is a leading consultancy specializing in Asset Management, Energy Management, and Sustainability services.We assist industrial and tertiary sector companies in enhancing efficiency through innovative and integrated solutions.Join us to shape a sustainable future by working on cutting-edge projects that combine technical expertise and environmental responsibility.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual as Sustainability Manager.This position offers hands-on experience in sustainability analysis and reporting, focusing on lifecycle assessments (LCA), carbon footprint calculations, greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and decarbonisation planning.Key ResponsibilitiesConductLifecycle Assessments (LCA)to evaluate environmental impacts of products and services.PerformCarbon Footprint of Productanalyses using internationally recognised methodologies.Develop and manageGHG Inventoriesfollowing standards such as ISO ***** and the GHG Protocol.Assist in preparingEnvironmental Product Declarations (EPD)according to ISO ***** and EN *****.Support the design and implementation ofDecarbonisation Plansfor clients in various sectors.Utilise tools such asSimaProfor environmental modelling and impact assessments.Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings to stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sustainability goals align with client objectives.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Sustainability or a related field.Academic or professional experience in LCA, carbon footprint, and GHG accounting is a plus.Familiarity withSimaPro softwarefor environmental modelling is highly preferred (academic-level proficiency acceptable).Knowledge of sustainability standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO ********, ISO *****, GHG Protocol).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data-analysis tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English.A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for sustainability.What We OfferA dynamic and collaborative work environment.Mentorship from experienced professionals in the sustainability sector.Exposure to real-world projects and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.Potential for future career opportunities within MDB.Join MDB and be part of a team driving sustainable innovation.Together, we can make a difference#J-*****-Ljbffr
