Full-time | February **** – July **** | Paid Off-Cycle Internship | Milan About Shop Circle Shop Circle is one of Europe's fastest-growing AI-powered software groups, on a mission to power the infrastructure of modern enterprises.Backed by more than $200M in funding, we have completed 16 acquisitions in just four years, building a portfolio of mission-critical software companies that help businesses operate, scale, and stay ahead.At Shop Circle, we embed AI-powered tools at the core of business operations, making work faster, smarter, and future-ready.Today, more than 150,000 companies — from lean SMBs to global enterprises — rely on our software every day to run essential operations.The Role We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Off-Cycle Investment Analyst to join our Corporate Development team in Milan for a 6-month full-time internship (February **** – July ****).You will join a dynamic team of eight investment professionals and gain hands-on exposure to live technology acquisitions across Europe and North America.The internship is available through a university programme or for recent graduates (within 12 months).Exceptional performance may lead to a full-time offer.The role follows a hybrid working model.What You'll Do Gain hands-on experience evaluating and executing technology acquisitions across global markets Support commercial, product, and financial due diligence processes Build and update financial models and company profiles Assist in preparing investment memos and materials for internal investment committees Collaborate closely with Finance, Product, Legal, and Value Creation teams Work directly with senior team members on live transactions What We're Looking For First-class academic grades (or equivalent) At least one prior internship in finance, ideally investment banking, strategy consulting, or buy-side investing MBA graduates are also encouraged to apply Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform under tight deadlines Fluency in English; Italian or another European language is a plus What You'll Get Direct exposure to global M&A transactions from day one Practical experience in financial and commercial due diligence A front-row seat inside one of Europe's fastest-growing AI-powered software groups, backed by tier-one investors The opportunity to work alongside experienced dealmakers in a fast-paced, international environment Ready to Take the Next Step?If you are driven, curious, and eager to build real investment experience inside a high-growth AI-powered software group, we would love to hear from you.Apply now and join us in shaping the future of enterprise software.
