Are you a Field Service Engineer looking for an interesting opportunity?Do you enjoy installation and maintenance?Join our Field Service team.Our Industry & Energy Technology (IET) team provides industry-leading products and services that optimize the extraction, production, and processing of energy.We help a diverse range of customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity.Our team plays an integral role by helping the business plan for the future.As a diverse and inclusive workplace, Baker Hughes IET values the unique perspectives and backgrounds of its employees.In this role, you will have the opportunity to bring your individual experiences and insights, contributing to a rich tapestry of ideas and fostering a culture of inclusivity.Your diverse perspective will enhance the overall effectiveness and success of the projects and initiatives you lead, making a positive impact on Baker Hughes IET and its stakeholders.Job TitleMechanical Field Service Engineer – Centrifugal / Reciprocating Compressor.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.Oversee, overhaul, troubleshoot, and commission Centrifugal / Reciprocating Compressor products at customer sites.Lead in customer and contractor meetings to share and update action plans and to advise on technical solutions.Ensure internal training, compliance, and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.Lead installation, maintenance, and repair of Centrifugal/Reciprocating Compressors—including borescope inspections, blade work, combustion/hot section replacements, engine swaps, and other maintenance tasks.Maintain a high standard of HSE compliance and lead activities, people, and safety.RequirementsGood working knowledge of installation and maintenance of rotating equipment.Experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar).Impressive customer service orientation and experience leading customers through tough decisions.Strong communication skills: able to convey complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.Deep awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance and potential risks.Self-motivated, able to make key decisions and innovate solutions.Excellent command of verbal and written English.EU passport / European work permit and proficiency in Italian.Ready to travel significantly (up to 70%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities.Flexible Work ArrangementsTravel to and work on customer sites in line with customer requirements.Duration of work at site and hours of work at the site will align with customer requirements.Between work assignments, have free time in line with Baker Hughes working time guidelines and fatigue management provisions.BenefitsContemporary work-life balance policies and wellbeing activities.Comprehensive private medical care options.Life insurance and disability programs.Tailored financial programs.Additional elected or voluntary benefits.#J-*****-Ljbffr
