AURELIUS is a globally active alternative investor, distinguished and widely recognised for its operational approach.It focuses on Private Equity, Private Debt and Real Estate.Its approach is characterised by its uncompromising focus on operational excellence and an unrivalled ability to efficiently execute highly complex transactions.AURELIUS has been growing significantly in recent years, particularly expanding its global footprint, and today employs more than 400 professionals in 9 offices spanning Europe and North America.For one of our Italian portfolio companies in the industrial manufacturing space, we are looking for aHead of PMO (m/f/d)ResponsibilitiesThe PMO Manager will play a central role in the transformation of the portfolio company by driving program visibility, consistency, and delivery discipline across the organization.As a key partner to the management team and Aurelius, the PMO ensures structure, transparency, and effective progress tracking across high-impact projects.This is a hands-on, business-driven role combining classic project management with strong change management capabilities and serves as a strategic sparring partner to senior leadership.The role involves intensive travel.Relocation is not needed for the role, but ahome base in Italyis preferable andpresence on sitein the portfolio company on 4 days / week a prerequisite.What you\'ll doProgram Governance & StructureEstablish and maintain a robust PMO framework including reporting standards, progress tracking, and performance KPIsSupport leadership in prioritizing and sequencing strategic initiativesDefine and manage the cadence of steering committees and progress reviewsPerformance Tracking & ReportingOversee and coordinate key transformation projectsDevelop and maintain dashboards, status reports, and KPIs to monitor milestones, risks, and interdependencies across workstreamsPrepare progress updates for management and AureliusStakeholder Management & CommunicationAct as central liaison between executive leadership, functional heads, external partners and AureliusEnsure transparent communication of progress, risks, and outcomes across the organization and AureliusChange Management:Drive the people side of transformation by anticipating change implications, supporting communication plans, and fostering ownership among stakeholdersHelp the leadership team translate strategic goals into actionable change narratives and embed new ways of working into the organizationContent & Strategic Sparring:Act as a thought partner to the CEO, CFO, and project leads in structuring initiatives, challenging assumptions, and shaping project contentSupport preparation of management and Aurelius board materials by synthesizing complex topics into clear messages and actionable insightsIdentify opportunities to enhance project effectiveness and institutionalize best practices across the organizationWhat you\'ll need:Experience & Background7+ years of relevant experience, consulting experience is a must.Ideally with experience in industry as wellPrior experience in aPE-backedortransformation-intensiveenvironment preferredProven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects in an international contextStrong project management and organizational skills with a structured, detail-oriented approachAnalytical mindset with ability to interpret business data and translate into actionable insightsHands-on, pragmatic, and execution-focused; comfortable operating in fast-changing environmentsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels of the organizationProficiency in MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel; experience with ERP or BI tools advantageousEducation & LanguagesDegree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fieldFluency in English required; Italian language skills strongly preferredPersonal CharacteristicsResults-driven and analytically rigorousPragmatic "doer" with a bias for action and measurable impactEntrepreneurial and comfortable in fast-changing environmentsStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityCollaborative, yet assertive when driving accountabilityComfortable balancing strategic oversight with operational detail#J-*****-Ljbffr
