Motor and Ventilation System Expert About Franke We, the Franke company with its three divisions, are a world's leading supplier of products and services for domestic kitchens, the professional foodservice systems and the convenience store sector as well as for professional coffee making.With around 60 companies, we are at home on five continents.Over 8,000 employees constantly take on new perspectives to identify opportunities and turn them into inspiring, innovative solutions for tomorrow's demands.The Franke Home Solutions division is the world's leading provider of smart systems for domestic kitchens.Drawing on a long history of reliability and expertise, we help our partners enhance their businesses and provide outstanding kitchen and cooking experiences to our consumers by offering complete solutions for food preparation and cooking.About the jobThe Ventilation System Expert is responsible for the coordination and execution of projects related to the development of new ventilation systems, including electric motors, blowers and impellers.The role acts, as a key technical reference, in defining product development strategies with a strong impact on business performance, product competitiveness and innovation roadmap.This role will be based in Fabriano (AN) - Italy, and reports to the Head of Global Functional Components.Lead the design and development of new ventilation systems, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholder requirements, regulatory constraints and market trends;Manage projects across all development phases, from concept generation and feasibility assessment through execution, validation and industrial phase-in;Drive Design-to-Cost and Design-for-Standardization initiatives aimed at reducing product cost, complexity and variability across current and future product platforms;Collaborate closely with Quality, Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions to improve product robustness, resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives;Define and oversee validation and qualification test plans to ensure compliance with performance, reliability, timing and cost targets;Coordinate technical activities with external partners and suppliers in co-design and co-development projects;Actively contribute to cross-functional teams in defining the product and technology strategic roadmap;Ensure effective and structured communication of project status, risks and results to internal and external stakeholders.RequirementsMaster's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline;At least 5 years of relevant experience in R&D in similar roles;Experience working in cross-functional and international teams is considered a strong advantage;Strong expertise in electric motor design, with in-depth knowledge of motor technologies used in household appliances, including BLDC motors, capacitor motors and shaded pole motors;Solid technical background in CFD analysis applied to complete ventilation systems (motor, blower, impeller and system integration);Proven ability to apply system-level thinking to optimize performance, efficiency, noise and reliability;Strong orientation toward continuous improvement in test execution, test setup optimization and test data management (reports, databases and documentation);Familiarity with international standards and regulatory requirements related to electric motors and ventilation systems;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, structured approach to project execution;Ability to manage complexity and multiple priorities in a dynamic environment;Effective communication skills at both technical and managerial levels;Fluent English and Italian (spoken & written).Other languages are a plus;Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project (or similar).What we offer youA strategic role within a structured and innovation-driven R&D organization;Exposure to high-impact development projects with global relevance;Continuous professional development and growth opportunities;A collaborative, international and performance-oriented work environment.Important information for all executive search companies, headhunters and HR consultantsThe Franke Group does not accept unsolicited support from headhunters and personnel consultants for our career opportunities.Any CV/resume vitae submitted to Franke or its employees by external recruitment agencies without a valid written recruitment agreement related to the position in question shall be deemed the sole property of our company.In the event that a candidate presented by an agency is hired in our company and there is no prior agreement, no fee will be paid.#J-*****-Ljbffr
